Automatic repair couldn’t repair your PC

My computer wouldn't start and entered into an Automatic Repair. The automatic repair "couldnt repair [my]PC". 

It specifies the following Log file: E:\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

Hi Steven,

This error occurs due to a possible corrupted startup file. For us to troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

  1. Restart your computer for 3 times to see Windows 10 Boot Options menu.
  2. Choose Troubleshoot.

3. Click on Advanced Options.

4. Select Command Prompt. 5. When Command Prompt appears, enter the following command lines and press Enterafter each: - bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd - bootrec.exe /fixmbr - bootrec.exe /fixboot 6. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

    I am facing the same problem. I do reached at the same stage as mentioned above in the screenshot. But I cannot restart my windows.Also while typing bcedit , it says bcedit is not recognized as an internal or external command.

    I'm experiencing this now in 2019

    Since I downloaded the windows 10 update last week my HP laptop will suddenly turn off even if my battery is not yet dead and when I'm turning it on it shows this message : Automatic Repair couldnt repair your PC Log file : C:\WINDOWS\System32:logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt   

    I don't get stuck with a blue screen or something. this prompt only shows whenever my laptop will suddenly shutting down

    how can I fix this? Please help me I need my laptop to work properly now out of all times since my thesis deadline is due next month TT TT

    try to recreate BCD using WiNdows RE or. booting with dvd 

    search online how to recreate BCD.

    or else try to do system restore

    Hello, as for me I get the feedback that the type of the file system is NTFS. 

    Cannot lock current drive. 

    Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because if is write protected.
