Hi Steven,

This error occurs due to a possible corrupted startup file. For us to troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

  1. Restart your computer for 3 times to see Windows 10 Boot Options menu.
  2. Choose Troubleshoot.

3. Click on Advanced Options.

4. Select Command Prompt. 5. When Command Prompt appears, enter the following command lines and press Enterafter each: - bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd - bootrec.exe /fixmbr - bootrec.exe /fixboot 6. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Let us know how it goes.

You poor lady i hope you read this!!! Get your damn money back!

What they did you can do for free, if you don't know how $50 at the most!!

If you took it to a shop they should be able to pull off data no matter what! I hope you have your hard drive.

Google or look out for IT guys that do data recovery for a living. Some will have it in their job description "retrieve data from wiped hard drives".

It will cost money so choose the guy that gives you the time of day, listens and is sincere.

    Not all hope is lost.
