"Xbox Live error

There was a problem loading your data from the cloud

Please check the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ at

https://aka.ms/mssolitairefaq and refer to error code:

121003"

I've done that, no help to receive there. No one seems to know what the error code 121003 mean so I'm wondering why you are creating error codes that you don't understand yourselves?

I am having problems with this program freezing up on me.  When I shut the computer completely off sometimes it will respond -  mostly with the jigsaw puzzles.  Is there  some way I can correct this?

    Out of luck, I'm afraid.

I've never been able to play the game again after it was "fixed".  That was the only time it worked--while Microsoft support was online.

I get just a little further now, though.  It allows me to choose the level of play and the # of suits.  And, then my computer is basically out of commission for 20-30 minutes at time.  It  basically locks up my computer and makes it nonfunctional.  Eventually, the solitaire program quits, and I can use the computer again.  But, the solitaire program never comes up.

    What happens?

    1.  I click on solitaire in the Start menu

    2.  It comes up and says, "signing in" for a very, very long time--about 5-10 minutes.

    3.  Next comes the 121003 error, and I click on Try Again.

    4.  Then the advertisement attempts to come up in my browser, but the browser just sits there and remains blank until I finally click to close it.

    5.  Then a very long wait--now my computer is not functional--and finally the program quits by  itself even though I chose Try Again earlier.

I have not been able to use Solitaire again since it was "fixed".  I've tried several times and rebooted each time.

    No joy here.

It took over an hour to fix, but finally I got some excellent help from Kristian Smith at Microsoft via Logmein.  He had a lot of patience and persistence.  I can't say I knew exactly what he did, but eventually he had me delete Solitaire and I think we also deleted Xbox.  I also logged out of Microsoft Store and back in with a different email address--I have two of them.  He downloaded Xbox, logged into that and then downloaded Microsoft Solitaire Collection and it finally worked.

I'm not really sure of all of the steps, but this is what I recall.

In any case, I'm now able to play the game.

By the way, this is actually much more important to me than just a way to waste time.  I am over 70 years old and have a very bad case of Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) or PLMD (Periodic Limb Movement Disorder--some people get hung up on which is which, one happens in the daytime and the other at night, I've no idea which is which)  that tends to wake me up at night.  I find that if I concentrate on playing one of the solitaire games, my mind is able to quit the limb movement and after a few rounds of the game, I can go back to sleep.  So, it's really a medical thing; not just a game.  :-0.

The mystery of what error 121003 still remains.  I never did find out what that error refers to.  It's a medical mystery.
