"Xbox Live error

There was a problem loading your data from the cloud

Please check the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ at

https://aka.ms/mssolitairefaq and refer to error code:

121003"

I've done that, no help to receive there. No one seems to know what the error code 121003 mean so I'm wondering why you are creating error codes that you don't understand yourselves?

After the Microsoft update of 1803 in May, the Microsoft Solitaire Collection became more impossible than ever.  It seems we are getting the Error Code 121003.  I've followed the minimal instruction to reset, reinstall, restart, sign in and out of XBox to no avail.  I'm signed into XBox and can play other Microsoft games.  The Microsoft Solitaire Collection is my favorite set of games but it isn't worth the frustration to play it.  I've played long enough since the update to know that the app has changed again.  The choice of solvable and random games is gone.  I have managed to play daily challenges but not the events.

There are problems with the update and, of course, no tech support from Microsoft or XBox.

I'm using a HP PC.  I'm not on wifi.  I wasn't having issue until after May 3 when my PC updated to 1803.

    I'm sure that's just a "coincidence"...NOT.

If anyone comes up with a solution, I would love to hear it.  Good Luck to all.

As an IT professional, nothing is more irksome to me than when an end user insists the problem is with the me and not the way they are trying to use the software.  If you were my customer I would patiently explain the problem and how to use the product properly.  Since you are not my customer, you get no such courtesy.

Oh, and just to prove how dense you really are, the instructions say to click on the ellipses next to the QUESTION, not next to your REPLY  When you do that, you get the option to unsubscribe.  As i will be doing in about two minutes.

Are you MSFT? No. I'm an IT professional and have been for over 40 years. Nothing irks me more than so called "professionals" who can't accept that they might make mistakes. Answer the question if you can. What is error code 121003?

I realise that you said you were going to unsubscribe but of course you haven't. You're a troll.

With this error cropping up on both PC's and like myself Android smartphones using 4Glte connections tends to lean towards this error cropping up if your data gets corrupted at the source and therefore cannot download correctly to the users device. ALL OTHER FUNCTIONS ON MY DEVICE WORKS!

My correction of the issue was to delete the game and XBox from my smartphone. This worked and I am no longer plagued by Mirosoft blaming myself and my device for THEIR ISSUES.

I first tried restoring to the previous version of Windows as the last update is when I started receiving this error code- and that fixed it-  however,  two days later Windows auto updated and re-installed the new version again and again I started getting this error code. This time I tried the steps that DorisHamme suggested- which are:

    1. Type "Credential Manager" in the windows search bar (or find it on your Control Panel)
    2. Choose the "Credential Manager" application
    3. Click on the "Windows Credentials" section
    4. Look for any windows "live" credentials in the "Generic Credentials" section an remove them (don't worry about deleting these items... it just means you will be prompted for a password the next time it needs this information)
    5. Try running your app again and it should now sync without issue.

This works- I no longer get the error code and the login and sync seems to be much faster.

    Thanks DorisHamme!

I don't think you get it.

Deleting MS didn't solve anything, there was nothing wrong with my device to begin with.

The only thing wrong was when the game tried to load off the cloud I got the error message.

It connected once after and all the data was gone. I would have had to start over.

So rather than put up with a non existant tech support that tossed me into forums where I get no help and abushed by MS apologists or answers only related to PC's I simply tossed the problem. If my device checks out fine and there's no problems except for one program and it's only related to the download from the cloud and most say... Duh...it isn't Microsoft they CAN'T screw up... Then the smart thing to do is walk away.

Oh and 4Glte connection is the first thing I checked out. And my ability to diagnose problems? Give me a break.

If you want to diagnose then tell me why on the email notifications they say to unsubscribe  the elipsis (...) and select unsubscribe. When that isn't an option on any ... on the entire page?
