After one of the recent upgrades to Windows 10, my Dell Laptop brightness is off the charts. I can find no way to adjust it. The function buttons no longer work. Under settings, the display setting provides no adjustment for brightness. I've read online about others having this problem a few years ago; I haven't found anyone talking about it as a recent issue. I have tried the fixes that were listed; none of them have worked. Please Help.

Press Windows key + X
Click Device Manager
Expand Display adapters
Right click the current display adapter
Click Properties
Click Driver tab
Click Rollback driver if the option is available
If not
Right click the current display adapter
Click Uninstall
Check the box that says, "Delete the driver software for this device.”
Exit Device Manager
Restart
Go to Start -> Settings -> Update & security, then Check for updates and install any available updates.
I updated today my windows 10 and the problem finally got resolved!
Guess what...now YouTube will not load....MS Tech played around for 3 hours, then says do not use IE11 or Edge.....only Chrome.

Yes, everything is working fine, including my YouTube.
I use as browser Opera, but I still have Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 installed. I tried them right now and they work fine, too, and YouTube is loading, as well.
I got Chrome but Realplayer does not download...yuk...
None of the solutions mentioned online worked for me, but after I tried installing Intel HD graphics driver the problem has been fixed
