how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

My desktop crashed! When I took it to be repaired I was told that this update had multiple problems.  They were getting at least one complaint a week.  I was unlucky enough to be one of the ones that could not be repaired without wiping the hard drive.  Never again!!

I have an S8 what I did was go to Settings > Apps >  Microsoft Launcher > Home Screen and Switch the other option which for me was Samsung Home Screen. After doing so you'll be able to uninstall Microsoft Launcher without any problems.

My wife thought the Windows 10 link to her phone (Pixel 2) would be a good idea. She didn't like the complete change that the Launcher made to her organized screens, so she wanted it removed. It took me a while, too, but after reading the replies here, I found it, too, under Apps/Default Apps where I switched from Microsoft Launcher to Google's Launcher. Happy wife, happy life!
