how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

this does not work, Microsoft, has of course, disabled the uninstall option from the app manager its complete **** microsofts such a shady ass company theyre goin to end up runnin the company into the ground one day just like they did their mobile os, funny ""coincidence"" the mobile os failed because of ms's greed.

Please go to the Google Play Store  and look for Microsoft Launcher and click uninstall from there.

    hey,

one thing to try is because microsft launcher is defaulted at the moment, you may have to default to another launcher. if you are using a samsung phone, go to settings, then personalization. click on standard mode. let the phone do its thing, then try to uninstall from the play store (my apps, then installed tab). This may take a few minutes. when its done reboot the phone. should be all set.

Just Solved my issue.  I too wanted to try the Microsoft launcher app but it changed my screens too much and I didn't have time to reset everything.

So I tried to do a simple uninstall however the Uninstall button was not active and the force stop would not work on my android LG stylo 2.

I went into general phone settings>Apps>Microsoft launcher> settings> turned off permissions & then turned off Default setting.

Once I revoked the app's permissions and default setting for the launcher I was able to force stop it and the uninstall button became active.  Then I was able to uninstall and choose the home screen I was used to. Now everything is as it was.  Thanks goodness!!
