how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

    Thank you. I tried that but "UNINSTALL" wasn't "lit."

    So I followed another reader's advice and went to the app store. There, I was able to uninstall this thing.

    This is how I uninstalled in android:

    1. settings > apps > Microsoft launcher -  FORCE STOP button
    2. Google Play App > Microsoft launcher page - UNINSTALL button

    Everything went back to normal without having to do anything else except select the "TouchWiz Home" when prompted by phone. (Samsung S6)

    I don't know if I needed to do step 1, but it worked!

    Like most people, I was surprised at the MAJOR changes to my phone.  I installed it after doing a Windows 10 update and it said it was a great way to send web pages between my computer/android.  That's great! ...Uhm.. no.   I didn't sign on for a complete overhaul of my phone.

    This is for Samsung Galaxy 7

    go to settings

    Go to apps

    Upper right 3 dots

    Select "default apps"

    In select Microsoft Launcher

    Choose one of the other two

    Now you will be able to uninstall launcher.

    On my Samsung 7 Edge I got rid of the app itself, but the chaos it created remains on my start screen.

    My original start screen is not longer an option in my settings, only the two new Microsoft.

    Is there a way to get back to my original Samsung screen, or it is lost forever?

    (I was so happy to get rid of my Windows phone and back to Android. And now this happens.!

    Is this a revenge ?)

    After some fiddling in the set-up menu, I got my old start screen back. But I do not know what fixed it.

    I feel it is dishonest of Microsoft to offer a simple synchronization, but in reality taking over the phone. You should be fair and make it clear in the app description what this Microsoft Launcher does to our phones.
