how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

This post was very helpful. On my Galaxy S8 I had to find Default Apps, then open Microsoft Launcher, de-select it as a default app, then go back and open Microsoft Launcher and click on Uninstall. It worked. It takes some playing around and a waste of about a half hour - but it can be done.

I have an S8 - there are no three dots showing. Forced Stop works for about 10 seconds then becomes active again, and Uninstall does not work at all.

MY "uninstall" button is still not lit up - did you have to do anything special to be able to uninstall the app.? This is so frustrating !

I finally went to Apps found MSLauncher, long held, and dragged to Uninstall.

Microsoft, bad, insensitive promotion - you DON'T hijack people's phones without adequate warnings and PERMISSIONS! This will be a PR nightmare!

I was having the same issue and I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!   I hated this app and went to uninstall, but it was greyed out and I only had the option to do a force stop.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 7, so hopefully this will help those with other phones as well.

Go to "Settings", then "Applications" and scroll down and open "Microsoft Launcher".   If your "uninstall" is in grey, scroll down to "Store" and click "App details in store".

From there, it will allow you to click "Uninstall".

MY PHONE HAS BEEN RESTORED TO ALL ITS GLORY!   OH HAPPY DAY!!!

I hope this helps!   Have a good one, ya'll!  xo
