how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

i tried that but the uninstall button was not lit up

Please try again,  follow the instructions in the link.. Go to settings, then apps, scroll down to MS items, on my phone I had 2 MS Launcher and MS whatever, I uninstalled the second item (forget what the exact name was, I clicked on it and it opened and I went to where I could delete it and my phone then reverted to the default scree.n. I  turned off my phone and then restarted the phone and went back through setting, then apps and scrolled down to MS Launcher opened it and the uninstall button was highlighted, I pressed the button and the app was removed, now everything from MS is gone from my phone.

    Hi,

You can try to uninstall Microsoft Launcher by opening your phone's Settings, click on Applications and then look for Microsoft Launcher. You can uninstall the app by clicking the Uninstall button. After uninstalling the application, you might need to restart your device. In the event that you'll experience any issues with changing your phone's launcher to default, we highly suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the device. They can provide you assistance with your concern because they have the expertise when it comes to navigating and managing the settings of your phone.

    ANDROID USERS:

It took about fifteen seconds after installing "Microsoft Launcher" to realize "NOPE". I went to default apps, in setting and found it, all the was available was Force Stop which when clicked did nothing,

Uninstall is there but greyed out. Right? this is your issue? You want the solution?

Well come to my site at ..... nah jk jk

What I found is that if you go to the top (I have galaxy note 8) and click the three dots you'll see "Uninstall for ALL users." Click that and its gone, all you're left with the **** Bing wallpaper.

Hope this helps, make sure to click that it helped you to others can find it.

Microsoft....I am a big supporter of yours, always have been. Thanks for all the good stuff you given us. But Launcher is NOT one of them. I also uninstalled as soon as I saw what Launcher was and how it radically transformed the UI and more on my phone.  No No...you can't do changes like this without clearly providing an exit/undo path. Thanks to Cheeks 1944 . Just installed Launcher, Found uninstall answer and uninstalled.
