how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

    :-) I basically came to the same conclusion. It took me a while to figure out what the old Samsung S8 launcher was (TouchWiz) and find out that it was still there on my phone. Once I got it going, I did uninstall the Microsoft Launcher.

    OK... so we all did it... tried something new and realized why mess with a good thing...

    So after research and a lot of trial and Error found the best solution.

    1. Go to your settings - apps -and locate Microsoft Launcher app
    2. Scroll down to the home screen tab and click
    3. Change to your previous Launcher e.g. TouchWiz home
    4. Hit the home button to take effect.
    5. Now choose if you want to leave it as an option to use when you want or if you wish skip right back to settings- apps- game Launcher and uninstall from your device.

    Got to say Microsoft...dirty move on your part making this difficult with no need ... Apple move...

Because of this, it will be best to contact the manufacturer of your device and inform them that you want to use its previous management system. They are the best people that could help you with your concern because they have the expertise when it comes to navigate and manage the settings of your device.

    I don't know if my earlier post made it out there.

    I just want to get rid of this, and all the junk it brought with it.  It is a cancer, perpetrated by Microsoft.  All sorts of crap (pardon my language, but the is the only word that is appropriate.) I want it out - you, Microsoft, put it there by all your lovely language when I was activating a new Windows based laptop. If I can get rid of the Launcher, will the old, Android, one take over again. And how do I get rid of all the junk the Microsoft Launcher brought with it.

    I'm quite sure this phone, a Samsung Galaxy S8, is mine. I paid good money for it. It doesn't belong to Microsoft, but they hijacked it. And Microsoft brought Bing and Edge along with it.

    Microsoft: you did this to me, and many others. At least tell us how to get rid of it.

    Please find out how to get rid of this Microsoft Launcher. I don't just want to deactivate it.  I want it gone. It is a cancer.  I may just return my new windows laptop. The procedure to get this new windows laptop up and running is when this launcher took over my Android phone. With the Microsoft Launcher, Google is gone from my phone and seems to be replaced by Bing, Edge is there taking over for browsing and PDFs. 

    And all sorts of crap has also appeared on the phone.  As I said, it is a cancer and it was perpetrated by Microsoft.
