I had the same problem. In order to activate the 'Uninstall' button I turned off all the permissions in the app and turned off everything I could find in the various layers. When I returned to the main settings screen showing 'Uninstall' and 'Force Stop', the 'Uninstall' button was available for selection, and it uninstalled immediately.
how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone
I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10. After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads. I want my old control system back. I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it. That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

2018-07-31T00:29:30+00:00 Microsoft, let me tell you
You launcher sucks.
Does not intuitively do what promises and its hard to manage.
you take control over people´s phones and try to kill the native system android.
its awful to go back and makes you panic because you loose your vital info including contacts. IT WAS AN HORRIBLE FELLING.
I had to reset the phone, because your launcher only has a force stop button and the uninstall does not work.
I think if a hacker did this on my phone I wouldnt have lost the control as I did with your system
Hope nobody uses this in the future
SINCERELY

2018-07-30T00:39:30+00:00 try this:
How to switch back to the default launcher on the Samsung Galaxy S7
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull down the Notification Shade.
- Tap the Settings button in the top right corner of your screen.
- Swipe up to scroll down.
- Tap Applications.
- Tap Default applications.
- Tap Home screen.
Then go to the play store, then my apps. Then you should see the installed apps tab. Look for the launcher, click it and uninstall
