how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

It worked!!! I've been pulling my hair out the last couple days. Hate the Windows 10 sync. Also screwed up my connectivity. Making a phone call outside of wifi was next to impossible. Thank you. Did exactly what you said. My Samsung J7 is back to normal.

I just tried doing that with my Android phone.  Mind you, it's Android 8.0 on a Samsung Note 8 (Sprint) and you can't long press or go into the app and just uninstall the app from there.

    Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. Have you gone to the Google Play Store on your device and searched for the application Microsoft Launcher and click uninstall from there?

In order to get rid of this, I had to take my phone in to the tmobile store. Apparently, the app is a completely new launcher for the phone. In order to go back to your old launchcer - which was probably the default one - you have to figure out what the default launcher for your phone is, switch to that one, and then delete Microsoft Launcher. You cannot uninstall a launcher that is currently the one running your phone. That's why the uninstall button is greyed out.
