I was able to uninstall it by going on 'play store' app in my phone and searching 'microsoft launcher' I was able to uninstall 'microsoft launcher' from there as the 'uninstall' option is there
how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone
I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10. After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads. I want my old control system back. I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it. That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

2018-08-09T19:09:03+00:00 I have an S8 what I did was go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Launcher > Home Screen and Switch the other option which for me was Samsung Home Screen. After doing so you'll be able to uninstall Microsoft Launcher without any problems.

2017-12-01T20:35:04+00:00 I have the Galaxy S8+. Like others, I could not uninstall as the uninstall button was disabled. If you force stop the app and then click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner, it asks you if you would like to uninstall for all users. I was very surprised that Microsoft Launcher basically took over my whole phone. It would have been nice to be able to link my phone to my PC without everything on my phone becoming impossible to find. Completely changed my home screen... What's up with that?

2017-11-18T20:20:21+00:00 This post was very helpful. On my Galaxy S8 I had to find Default Apps, then open Microsoft Launcher, de-select it as a default app, then go back and open Microsoft Launcher and click on Uninstall. It worked. It takes some playing around and a waste of about a half hour - but it can be done.

2017-11-26T15:08:58+00:00 I uninstalled Microsoft Launcher from my Samsung A5 by going back into 'play store' on my phone and searching it again. The uninstall option is available there. Once uninstalled I restarted my phone to be sure. I'm all back to how it was before installing Microsoft Launcher. Hope this helps
