how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

    Since you already deactivated the Microsoft Launcher, we believe that your device is already running its previous Operating System. Because of this, it will be best to contact the manufacturer of your device and inform them that you want to use its previous management system. They are the best people that could help you with your concern because they have the expertise when it comes to navigate and manage the settings of your device.

    To disable:

    • Settings - Default Applications
    • Select "TouchWiz Home" or TouchWiz easy home"
    • Follow the instruction to go back to the home screen to apply.
    • Home screen

    To uninstall:

    • Settings - Default Applications
    • Select the bin next to "Microsoft Launcher"
    • Follow the instructions to deactivate as Administrator.
    • Select Deactivate
    • Select the bin next to "Microsoft Launcher"

    Shortly after my first post on 11.06.17, I went back to Launcher in Applications and disabled it so, if you haven't already, I would at least try it and see if Uninstall then lights up - mine didn't.  However, disabling Launcher could have been a precursor to Microsoft's response to my post and the Uninstall button magically appearing. Good luck :)

    THE UNINSTALL BUTTON IS NOT HIGHLIGHTED!! I WANT THIS THING OFF MY PHONE.

    I uninstalled microsoft launcher by going back into 'play store' and searching it again on there and then the uninstall option is there were you can uninstall it from your phone

    This is how I uninstalled in android:

    1. settings > apps > Microsoft launcher -  FORCE STOP button
    2. Google Play App > Microsoft launcher page - UNINSTALL button

    Everything went back to normal without having to do anything else except select the "TouchWiz Home" when prompted by phone. (Samsung S6)

    I don't know if I needed to do step 1, but it worked!

    Like most people, I was surprised at the MAJOR changes to my phone.  I installed it after doing a Windows 10 update and it said it was a great way to send web pages between my computer/android.  That's great! ...Uhm.. no.   I didn't sign on for a complete overhaul of my phone.
