how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

to uninstall the Microsoft launcher I first had to clear the Defaults on Microsoft launcher.

    tap in this order

"Settings" "APPS"   "MICROSOFT launcher"  "open by default"    "clear Defaults" "Back(or left arrow)" "Uninstall"

once the defaults on the Microsoft launcher were cleared the UNISTALL button became available.

    I hope this helps

Had the exact same issue. I have an app called Android Cleaner. I was able to uninstall the launcher through this program.  Crazy stuff!

Instantly realized this app wasn't for me.  Got scared like everyone else when "uninstall" was greyed out.  I did a "force stop" and "uninstall" was still greyed out.  Not cool.  While still on this screen I noticed 3 little dots up in the top right of my screen.  I clicked it and saw "uninstall".  Worked perfect on my S8 plus.  Went right back to my old home screen.  Hopefully it works for everyone else.

:-) I basically came to the same conclusion. It took me a while to figure out what the old Samsung S8 launcher was (TouchWiz) and find out that it was still there on my phone. Once I got it going, I did uninstall the Microsoft Launcher.
