how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone

I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10.  After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads.  I want my old control system back.  I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it.  That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

    Instead of going to settings,  apps, apps manager go to the pages where apps are and find the Microsoft Launcher ICON, press and hold down and drag to delete garbage can.

    That only deletes the icon, the app remains installed.

    You can confirm this by deleting an icon you don't use and then search the installed apps. You will see that you did NOT uninstall the app.

    Uninstall is grayed out.  What now?

    It is becoming MASSIVELY frustrating that so many people ask the same question, ignoring the MANY copies of the same answer that exist in this thread.

    Is it so much to ask of people that they browse through the thread before asking again?

    1. go to the Play Store and search for the Microsoft Launcher
    2. when you find that, you will have two options: "Uninstall" and "Open"
    3. choose "Uninstall" and your problem is solved.

    =====================

    As an aside, it seems to be impossible to unsubscribe from this thread. I've gotten more than 10 messages about this just TODAY!

    Hi,

    You can try to uninstall Microsoft Launcher by opening your phone's Settings, click on Applications and then look for Microsoft Launcher. You can uninstall the app by clicking the Uninstall button. After uninstalling the application, you might need to restart your device. In the event that you'll experience any issues with changing your phone's launcher to default, we highly suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the device. They can provide you assistance with your concern because they have the expertise when it comes to navigating and managing the settings of your phone.

    Reply to this thread if you'll need further assistance.

    But I think what everyone is saying, is that the "uninstall" is grayed out.  I don't want this software.  I'm sorry I downloaded it.
