I ad similar problem on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 tonight. On this tablet i can still swipe down and go to setting and access the Smart Manager and then I went to applications manager within the Smart manager and told it to remove the programs no longer needed, i.e. microcough Launcher. That removed the launcher and my system went back to normal. Whew! I thought Ihad lost al of my data.
how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone
I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10. After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads. I want my old control system back. I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it. That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

2017-12-06T00:33:24+00:00 I went to uninstall and I forced Microsoft Launcher to stop because I couldn't find a way to uninstall it. I have a Samsung Note 4 and when I forced ML to stop, my phone was a mess. It had huge icons and I had to reinstall the ML from the Google Store to get my phone back to normal. Now I know I can uninstall ML by going to Google to uninstall it. Which I read in here in one of the comments posted here. Thanks!
Like others I did not realize Microsoft would take over my whole phone. I liked the change of wallpaper and having the time being displayed on my home page but I would like a little more control of my phone. Besides that my phone kept freezing up and during a call or freezing up in an application I was getting frustrated because my phone never had these issues before.

I uninstalled it. I went on 'play store' app on phone and searched 'microsoft launcher' and from there you see the option to uninstall it
