Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

I have been several days trying to connect mi keyboard to a new Lap Top and the only solution was what you said.

I love my 1st generation BT devices. Like a lot of other people, I purchase high-quality products and expect them to last for many years. It is very frustrating when changes in software make them seem outdated. Even when we can afford new equipment we have to ask ourselves what is the ecological impact of constantly replacing items that are still working perfectly well. I can afford it, but I’m not sure the planet can. I hope maybe I’ve saved a few Bluetooth keyboards from the landfill. 

No I’m not still using a 3.5” floppy drive but could certainly pull one out if I needed to! LOL

I also started having this problem... go to control panel then under hardware and sounds select add a device... the Bluetooth keyboard should show up then select it and click next then it will give you an empty space to write the passcode and under it an option to get a new passcode.... click the option under the space..... then you will get a new passcode which you are supposed to type it as fast as possible on the Bluetooth keyboard and press enter afterward... it will then connect and you are free to use the keyboard. remember type the password on the keyboard you are trying to connect not the pc's keyboard

1. Connect a USB keyboard
2. Turn off the bluetooth Keyboard
3. Power on keyboard and Press Connect so the keyboard goes into pairing mode – Blue light flashing.
4. Go to Device menu and “Add a device”. Select your bluetooth Keyboard.
5. On another USB keyboard, input a 4 digit PIN number (for example, enter 1010) and hit “Connect”.
6. Then on the Bluetooth Keyboard enter THE SAME 4 digit number (for example, enter 1010) and press Enter.

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.
