Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

Split from this thread.

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

At one point it showed passwords yet I wasn't sure how to enter them in, since it didn't' show that specific password screen.

Now I am not able to find how the passwords display.  I have also tried, 1111, 9999, and the passwords it showed, yet it is still saying, wrong passwords.

    What should I do next?

Is there a way to reset the keyboard?

    Thank you

Recover Bluetooth Keyboard 3.0 PIN again _ Solved

There is one way to recover  PIN code again

Press Win key + R together to open Run dialog box again.

Type "regedit" in it and click ok

If you have tuch screen pad just go to search 🔍 area near windows start menue type regedit" in it and click ok

    Register Editor will open

    Go to

    HKEY_USERS

    DEFAULT

    SOFTWARE

    Microsoft

    Windows

    CurrentVersion

    Bluetooth

    ExceptionDB

    Addrs

When you see "Addrs" folder open it.  If you see any keys/folder under it simple select it and delete it.

That keys represent the Bluetooth device aaddres.

Now try again to connect Bluetooth keyboard to your laptop or windows IPad,  you will see PIN code again

Remeber when you see PIN code then type same PIN on your Bluetooth keyboard and press enter from your Bluetooth keyboard.

Now enjoy your new connected bluetooth keyboard

Hey all, who had the same issue and can't reset the device because they can't find the proof of previous connection with the keyboard. You have to go to Devices and Printersin Control Panel, then click Add a Device. You will try to connect to the keyboard through this screen, which will still show you the "Enter a Code to Connect to the Device" message, as well as a new "Or, Enter A Code on the Device" message.

    Hope that helps :)

    Thank you. This works.
