Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

Split from this thread.

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

Hello, you just need to enter PIN in request window and next the same PIN on the keyboard and press Enter.

In the last 24 hours, i have been scratching my head over this.

The above solution worked for me and i am giving this feedback on my BT mini keyboard.  I had this Bakker Elkhuizen M-board 870 Bluetooth keyboard on Channel 1 with my laptop working till yesterday morning  and After the updating to Windows 10, I experienced the similar issue as mentioned above, where the Laptop prompts for the PIN. I tried as the above and the it was not getting through.   Eventually this is what brought my keyboard attached to the laptop.

    1. As mentioned i was on channel 1 of the keyboard for laptop. I decided to take this out.

I used my phone to pair the Keyboard on channel 1. i was able to type into my phone.

    2.  I used the connect press button on the backside of keyboard for the Laptop to detect the Blue tooth keyboard. Once i see

the detection of the device displayed on the laptop screen under "add Bluetooth device",  i switched to channel 2 (using

         host select +2).

    1. The laptop prompted for a PIN. I entered 0000 on the laptop keyboard and pressed the connect tab, As soon i see the entry

        is taken

    4.  I entered the 0000 on the Bluetooth keyboard and press enter on the Bluetooth keyboard.

    1. Surprise surprise  i see the the Keyboard connected under the Bluetooth device on the laptop.

To me this is weird and these products are flaky!!!!  though it is working and i am using it now  :-)

I dont know if this makes you happy or cry!!!!

    Att,

    funcionou pra mim, parceiro! Obrigado!!!
