Bluetooth Keyboard PIN

Split from this thread.

I am having the same issue; namely, when I try to pair my keyboard (to a Win10 Mobile device) it sees the keyboard (Listing it as a "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, Input") as available to pair.   When I touch on the keyboard to pair and it asks for the pin.  I do not know the PIN and there is no default PIN for the device.  (I attempted to pair the Keyboard to an Android device, the Android device generated a new PIN and I entered that and it works with that device).

It appears that I need to wipe out the Win10 device's previous association with the BT keyboard so that I can start the pairing process again, but I cannot find any documentation on how to do that.

Usually the bluetooth device will have a pin code.

    Step 1:

Please, check for pin on the following:

    i. On the accessory package,

ii. In the accessory manual or instruction book,

iii. On the front/back of the accessory itself,

(I found mine on accessory manual)

    Step 2:

    i. First enter pin in main device (pc/laptop/mobile/etc) and press Enter. It will show "device is connecting" or similar,

ii. While it is showing "connecting", at the same time just enter/type-in the same pin in the bluetooth keyboard/accessory and press enter on the keyboard/accessory.

iii. Both devices will now be paired/connected.

(If no pin is found with the accessory, you can try default pins such as 0000 or 1111 or 1234 etc. Or look in-to manufacturers website for FAQs)

Thank you so much. It really was a simple fix. I had thr exact same issue except with my computer. Did what you suggested and it worked flawlessly.
