Getting error 0x80070BC2 doing Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892)

This update has failed 21 times+. I have run trouble shooter and it is green.

Everything looks good until after the reboot. Stuck in a bad loop.

Event log:

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070BC2: 2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892).

Any help would be appreciated.

PLEASE FIX THIS.  This update has failed over 20 times.

Surely at least one Microsoft employee is smart enough to fix this problem.  A simple call to any of the people suffering from the problem would allow this one employee to see what's wrong.

open CMD as administrator, an type one by one:

SC config wuauserv start= auto [Press Enter]

SC config bits start= auto [Press Enter]

SC config cryptsvc start= auto [Press Enter]

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto [Press Enter]

reboot system

    Sure would be nice if Microsoft would get their sh*t together and fix this!  It's now failed 28 times for me and is constantly slowing down my computer, by trying to install it over and over again.  This is ridiculous!!

    Pretty pathetic how poorly the Microsoft support site is maintained.  I can't think of 1 single time EVER that I found the solution to a Windows problem on here either!  I usually just skip right past the Google results and find the answer elsewhere.  For as many users there are on Windows, it's a downright shame that they can't even provide a quick and easy support site.

    This worked, you had to do it from a elevated plain cmd prompt, not powershell. 

    Nonetheless it worked, not sure how, just go with it, nothing else worked

    Ive had this same issue ive tried installing this manually but every time i install manually i just get a message that says windows installer items not installed
