One last thing...

I just noticed Microsoft issue an update yesterday (Tues Apr 10).  Have you checked to see it installed on your computer?  If it did, there's a good chance you are OK and you might want to wait another few more days before taking additional actions.

Hope it installed.

PLEASE FIX THIS.  This update has failed over 20 times.

Surely at least one Microsoft employee is smart enough to fix this problem.  A simple call to any of the people suffering from the problem would allow this one employee to see what's wrong.

SC config wuauserv start= auto [Press Enter]

SC config bits start= auto [Press Enter]

SC config cryptsvc start= auto [Press Enter]

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto [Press Enter]

reboot system

I have a problem with windows 10 update. it fails every day because their is a problem when they try to update to windows 10 (version 1709) .PLEASE HOW WILL THIS EVER STOP. I AM REALLY UPSET WITH THIS PROBLEM. IT RUINS MY WORK, HAVING TO WAIT FOR THE UPDATES, AND AFTER THAT THERE IS AN ERROR MESSAGE, AFTER I CLICKED IT, THEN A MESSAGE APPEARS TO INFORM ME TO WAIT TILL THEY RESTORE WINDOWS TO THE PREVIOUS SETTINGS. THEN THE FOLLOWING DAY AGAIN, I GET THE MESSAGE TO RESTART AGAIN, AND THEN I GO THROUGH THE SAME AGONISING PROBLEM. hey i'm not sure if this will work but i was given the advice to type the same thing but instead of sc type SC.EXE  in to powershell(administartor)

you could try that or i was given another advice to uninstall the updates and then reinstall them from settings. hope this helps

The problem is that KB4088776 will never install if it has failed previously.

My advice is to uninstalled as many of the existing updates as possible (some do not have uninstall option). Go to   View installed update history  and then select Uninstall updates. After this start over with the latest updates. This is what I did and my system has no further problems to date.
