Host process for windows tasks is using the webcam

Since the update to 1709 I keep getting every few hours “Host process for windows tasks is using the webcam”.

Is this safe and normal?

I have the HP Envy running windows 10 pro.

Hi all... Update

I have Kaspersky internet security and it's that is displaying the report so If you have Kaspersky internet security that telling you the web cam is been used so this is what I did: -

Go to windows settings… Privacy… Camera…  then I turned off “Let apps use my camera hardware” and up to now it’s never reported web cam been used up to now after about 10 hours.

    This spying &^%$ is way past being out of hand, time to switch to an open source platform like Linux. It's disgusting what high tech companies use us as, a zoo of personal data. With all the money that MicroSpy, Farcebook, Gooogle etc. 'make' by illegally exploiting us, you should pay us big time money to use your spyware. I use a dark paper flap over my camera because I only use it to log in, I wonder if MS sells our faces so some stranger can also log in and rape our data?

    Just sayin'.... Will this post be deleted? We will see.
