Error is at bottom. "What was I doing when I noticed this error"?  Nothing usually the errors do not 'present' themselves - I just see them in event viewer.  3k + errors can not be good.

    Tony,

I use the generic Eastern time when I am home in the US, currently I am on Jakarta time, since I am traveling.

I am "UTC-5:00 Indiana East"  There below is me.  The eastern Time (US & Canada) is more generic.  The Indiana East is the one I usually use.  So what do I change it to?

    Hi!

I saw that too, I found it here:

    https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/windows-10-rtm-scheduled-task-timezone-bug-xml-contains-travis-roe/.

I am currently set to automatic time zone.  To be honest I do not care what time my computer displays.  It would be great if it showed the right time though.  I am US Indiana East Coast/Daylight savings.

Just set it to one of these (Photo below?).  From reading, I thought Windows patched this problem.  Does it make sense it is happening for me now.  Even if it makes no sense.  Just change my time to one of the highlighted?  My time will be inaccurate from the change forward right?

I found this same question from Aug 3rd

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows\_10-other\_settings/windows-10-event-id-16385-failed-to-schedule/2a5c67f6-bac9-4b58-bcdb-d61ab641c412

One answer was to change the system time zone.

"After reading www.tenforums.com I changed system time zone from +05:30 to +05:00 or +06:00  solved  Event ID 16385 task scheduler errors."

    Maybe it will help.

There are lots of categories and forums I do not understand.  I do not know where to ask if it matters. But categories and forums are my two drop down options! :)
