Windows 10 100 Percent Disk Usage Problem

Hi ..

Disk showing 100% and slowing down my system everytime . I have tried some of the fixes posted in google but nothing worked so far. 

tried almost everything suggested in - https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/100-disk-usage-windows-10-fixed/

Task manager indicate some times single windows update , some times single system windows process takes almost 98% of disk . 

I killed all background processes once and it seems resolved for a while but its resurfacing. 

Please help me to resolve this .

    I own two windows 10 laptops and they both have this problem.

    On one of them, which is my personal laptop, I have tried every solution I can find online, spending 5 or 6 hours total trying to fix it with absolutely no impact.

    The other one is a new laptop I use solely for work.  This was fine for a month or two, but after a recent update is showing 100% disk usage even when the machine is completely idle.  It makes the computer incredibly sluggish / non-responsive and is a massive impact on my productivity.  I haven't tried any of the proposed solutions on this machine since apparently it is a complete crapshoot as to whether they have any impact, and they involve messing around with things that shouldn't need messing with.  What should I do, buy another computer?  Based on my experience it is highly likely that this will have the same problem.

    I am afraid I don't have any useful advice for people who are suffering from this problem, but I just wanted to express my frustration.  Windows 10 is a broken OS that should never have been released.

    Fix this problem, Microsoft!

    Windows 10 - 100% Disk Usage

    possible solution did the WIndows +r 

    entered services.msc

    disables the bits (background intelligent  transfer service) , superfech , windows search but stayed at 100% then i noticed the "xbox live auth manager" was ruining  i stopped the program and doped to 2 % 

    This solution really works!!

    if you disable bits, then you can't able to windows update

    I have reported this problem here in this thread and have seen it several times, but only every once in a while. Takes FOREVER to get back to normal and I've always just had to let it do it's thing, forever, until it finished. I discovered something today that was helpful to me, and might be helpful to others. I brought up Task Manager again, and saw nothing taking an inordinate amount of disk. All tasks were taking hardly anything at all. Tells me it some hidden background task is eating disk. Well, I noticed this one task bouncing around at the top of the list called something like "Mini Dump Analyzer". Wasn't taking a lot of disk according to Task Manager, but was always in the top 4 tasks in the disk column. I killed the Mini Dump Analyzer task and disk usage quickly returned to normal... within 30 seconds.  Ta da! I was taking down a long running Firefox browser app during the incident. I believe the Firefox browser was abending at the time and it may have been this that spawned the "Mini Dump".  Hope this might fix some of these 100% disk issues for some.
