Windows 10 100 Percent Disk Usage Problem

Hi ..Thanks for the reply. 

I have  done clear reboot , restarted several times but no luck, it is still growing to 100% sporadically . 

I uninstalled Avast Anti virus too.  One observation forgot to tell ,  disk shows 100% as soon as system is on/restarted and later  on it reaches sporadically. when composing this msg it is 1 or 2 %. 

Since it did not fix , i did not do the step you mentioned as Note.

Thanks for the reply. It did not resolve. As suggested, tried the following , 

1. Tried to select auto start for super fetch but received error msg

"The delayed auto start flag could not be set 

Error 87 :The Parameter is incorrect." . 

Tried stopping service , restarting machine but i couldn't select it so i finally disabled it.

2. Disabled HomeGroup Listener, the HomeGroup Provider and the Windows Search, as suggested.

Restarted machine and verified all those four services are in disabled status.

but disk is still showing  100% .  

Screen shot is below, when captured  screen shot avast occupied full disk, but some times some other thing...

single service is occupying full disk.

To troubleshoot your concern, we recommend that you disable some services in Windows 10 to isolate this problem. The following services areSuperfetch, HomeGroup Listener, HomeGroup Provider,andWindows Search. 

The Superfetch helps to pre-load the programs you often use into the memory. But if you don't use any of the programs after turning on the PC, it will still take up a high percentage of the disk. Also, the HomeGroup services can result in the high workload of the disk and the CPU and slow down the system running.

To disable the services in Windows 10. Here’s how:

1. Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the run dialog box.
2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
3. Locate Superfetch.
4. Double-click Superfetch.
5. Select Automatic (Delay Start) from the drop-down menu of Startup type.

6. Double-click the HomeGroup Listener, the HomeGroup Provider and the Windows Search. 7. Select Disable d form the drop-down menu of Startup type.
