Is it possible to uninstall the Windows 10 update assistant? When i delete it it just automaticly reinstalls itself when i start the pc again

I have successfully implemented the recent solution and fully expect it to need to be implemented again when Microsoft build a workaround.

Even if the whole universe uses a product and many use it with no issues does not mean that the product is either a good one, fit for purpose or without error,

Windows 10 is chock full of errors, some new and some inherited, because MS holds its customers in sufficient contempt that it ignores errors reported to it.

Only when you have achieved a monopoly position can you you get away with such egregious behaviour and disdain for customer base that you release software that has either not been sufficiently tested or you are relying on your customers to do the testing for you.

If MS produced cars that performed this badly, they would have been sued out of existence by now.

It is only reinstalled with a cumulative update which happens, maybe, twice a month. In between, you can either use DaveM121's solution from 11/6/17 and repeated right above, in a reply, or mine from 3/18/18 which is even easier and takes less than a minute. I've used it on two computers that I support and they no longer see the rebooting or the big white nag screen to update. Or you can keep complaining about a problem about an OS that a billion people otherwise run with few issues; imho

They already have our money, so they have no motivation to help us out.

Most of us did not pay for the Windows 10 product, thus relieving Microsoft of any need to provide value-for-money or legal requirement to make it worth the money paid for it.

Astute move, Microsoft. You can afford, with impunity, to ignore all complaints about your product.

Windows 10 does seem to be exceptional value for money, having cost nothing to acquire. However, as a piece of software that shares so many similarities with malware, it should be recalled as faulty and a working substitute provided in the interim.
