Is it possible to uninstall the Windows 10 update assistant? When i delete it it just automaticly reinstalls itself when i start the pc again

Its soo **** annoying and i just want the <removed> poppup  to disapear. when i try update it just get the wrong code but i cant fix it so i just want to delete the **** assistant permanently.

The Update Assistant in Windows 10 cannot be uninstalled, but you can get rid of it

Click your Start Button, type Task Scheduler and hit enter

In the left Pane, navigate to: Windows - Update Orchestrater

Right Pane double click 'Update Assistant'

Click on Triggers Tab

On each of the triggers ( At login . . . etc.) double click and uncheck 'Enabled'

Under 'Update Assistant, there is another event 'Update Assistant CalendarRun'

Do the same for all triggers on that event

Restart your system, that's It!

    I followed the steps and and checked all the boxes. I didn’t have any problems for two weeks. Then all of a sudden yesterday, it came back. I followed the steps again. At least if I only have to do it every two weeks that’s better than having my computer trying to download the update every 15 minutes. It still sucks though!

    I have found the simplest way to disable the Update Assistant is this -

    Delete these folders (contain the install files downloaded and trying to install) -

    C:\WINDOWS\UpdateAssistant and

    C:\Windows10Upgrade

    Open Task Scheduler/Task Scheduler Library/Microsoft/Windows/UpdateOrchestrater

    In middle pane, Delete these tasks-

    \Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\UpdateAssistant and

    \Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\UpdateAssistantCalendarRun

    This disables the automatic running of UA to check for updates on a schedule, or at all. Good Luck, All.
