Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 7/25/2017 12:00:00 AM - 22.19.128.0 update has reduced display resolution to a maximum of 1280 * 1024

When I started my PC today Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 7/25/2017 12:00:00 AM - 22.19.128.0 was installed by Windows Update.  Since then, the maximum screen resolution available is 1280 * 1024 whereas it should be 1680 * 1050.  See https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=rx+580 for a listing of this update.

This driver should not have been installed as my AMD Radeon HD 4350 GPU is not supported by native drivers in Windows 10:  http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Driver-Support-for-AMD-Radeon%E2%84%A2-HD-4000,-HD-3000,-HD-2000-and-older-Series.aspx

However, there appears to be no way to remove this update as when I click on the Uninstall updates link in Windows Update, the new driver isn't listed.

How do I remove this driver, go back to the existing driver (version 8.970.100.9001 according to the article above), and prevent the "update" from being installed again?

Thanks!

HERE’S THE SOLUTION - If Video Card don't show up.

Step 1: Go to Control Panel and click on Device Manger

Step 2: Scroll down and click on “Display Adapters” it’s going to dropdown and

click on ATI Mobility Radeon HD 42 Series.

Step 3: Wen the window open click on “Drivers” from the top tabs.

(This is where you will see the” Roll Back Driver”)

Step 4: Click on “Roll Back Driver”. Another window will pop up and give options to why you want to Roll Back or you can type in your answer.

Step 5: Click OK and within SECONDS your computer will be back to normal.

Here's the fix I found. You can roll back your driver if that option is available on device manager. Or if your "roll back driver" option is grayed out (like it was on mine) you can do this. The problem seems to be with the video driver dated 7/25/2017. I went to Device Manager, then clicked on the "display adapters" and then right clicked on the ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics (or whatever graphics you happen to have). Then I clicked on the "Driver" tab, Then "Update Driver."  Then "Browse my computer for driver software." Then  "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer." It found four versions of the driver, two dated 7/25/2017 and one dated earlier along with the generic one. I clicked on the

earlier dated one and installed it and I'm back to normal. The repair takes just a few seconds and you're back to normal.
