Windows 10 update sucks.

I'm running windows 10 since the very beginning and it is ok. Better saying, it was ok until 2 days ago when my computer was updated to the biggest update ever done. It happens that now it takes years to boot and a few minutes ago (that's when I turned it on) my fingerprint reader does not work anymore and during boot the monitor goes off just after windows starts. I wonder if Microsoft is paying the salaries of those programmers responsible for this update. Perhaps they have done something wrong to upset Microsoft, or is it just stupidity?

Now, I WANT my computer to work the way it did before this stupid update. I don´t won't to remember dozens of usernames and passwords (that's why I spent a lot of money buying a fingerprint reader, which now is useless due to the unprofessional update made by Microsoft). My Microsoft trackball runs or not runs after boot. Is this normal? Don't you test your programs before releasing them to the public?

Do you know what? You suck, just because you wanted to do this major update before Christmas. Well... you've ruined my Christmas with it. SHAME ON YOU!

Hello,

It is possible that system files might have been damaged or corrupted after installing an update, or that the update installed has known issues.

For resolving corrupted system files, you may run the System File Checker tool to scan and repair the system for corrupted system files. For information about running the tool, kindly see this article.

However, some issues occur only after installing a certain update. An example of a known issue in an update is after installing KB4074588 (latest update), USB devices, such as keyboard or mouse, stop working. Microsoft is already aware of this issue and will provide a resolution through an update. To see the list of known issues for each update, kindly see Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 update history.

If the System File Checker tool does not help, you can restore your PC from a system restore point. This would take your PC back to a point in time before an update is installed. For information on how to restore your PC from a system restore point, kindly see Recovery options in Windows 10.

After restoring, you may prevent the update from reinstalling by downloading and running the Show and hide updates troubleshooter. To read more about the troubleshooter, kindly read through this article.

    Yep, the latest security update (Jan) pretty much damn near bricked my PC. Had to reformat and perform (attempt) fresh install 4 f-ing times! 4 TIMES!! What a bloody headache, lets see, constant black screen, wont boot, wont install, wont repair, scrambled video, did I mention no video? hung system, and so on and so forth. The only way around it when it FINALLY decided it (for god only knows what reason) would cooperate was oh so kindly allowing me to finally NOT allow the update through. Im NEVER EVER NEVER updating Win 10 again ! Furthermore Ive blocked ALL updates in every conceivable way. I dont have time for fighting this kind of BS, next round Im going Linux.

    Win 10 updates, what a complete farce, its almost criminal.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR MS! HAHA GREAT! JOKES ON ME! I GET IT, SUPER FUNNY

    Its just a device, to many of us, not a career resume.

    What a waste of time to have to wonder what happened ,reset and search and eventually find that we have to get used to this new idea from some kid's head.

    I  still cannot reinstall WMP. I found the uninstall, hm what a waste of energy.

    There's a special place waiting to those who dump their intnetions on others.

    It's called 21century Amerika. Oh cant u just smell the air of the freedom to predate on others.

    Thei updates have taken away my pictures and me DVD player. I tried to uninstall. but it won't let me. I do not want any updates- but they force them on me.

    they just recently took all my photos too
