Windows 10 update sucks.

I'm running windows 10 since the very beginning and it is ok. Better saying, it was ok until 2 days ago when my computer was updated to the biggest update ever done. It happens that now it takes years to boot and a few minutes ago (that's when I turned it on) my fingerprint reader does not work anymore and during boot the monitor goes off just after windows starts. I wonder if Microsoft is paying the salaries of those programmers responsible for this update. Perhaps they have done something wrong to upset Microsoft, or is it just stupidity?

Now, I WANT my computer to work the way it did before this stupid update. I don´t won't to remember dozens of usernames and passwords (that's why I spent a lot of money buying a fingerprint reader, which now is useless due to the unprofessional update made by Microsoft). My Microsoft trackball runs or not runs after boot. Is this normal? Don't you test your programs before releasing them to the public?

Do you know what? You suck, just because you wanted to do this major update before Christmas. Well... you've ruined my Christmas with it. SHAME ON YOU!

Hello,

It is possible that system files might have been damaged or corrupted after installing an update, or that the update installed has known issues.

For resolving corrupted system files, you may run the System File Checker tool to scan and repair the system for corrupted system files. For information about running the tool, kindly see this article.

However, some issues occur only after installing a certain update. An example of a known issue in an update is after installing KB4074588 (latest update), USB devices, such as keyboard or mouse, stop working. Microsoft is already aware of this issue and will provide a resolution through an update. To see the list of known issues for each update, kindly see Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 update history.

If the System File Checker tool does not help, you can restore your PC from a system restore point. This would take your PC back to a point in time before an update is installed. For information on how to restore your PC from a system restore point, kindly see Recovery options in Windows 10.

After restoring, you may prevent the update from reinstalling by downloading and running the Show and hide updates troubleshooter. To read more about the troubleshooter, kindly read through this article.

    I like Windows 7 best of all. And, yes, they keep sending me updates while they say they will stop supporting the OS in 2020. Stupid, greedy, people.

    Windows 10 updates are almost malicious software. For several years they SEVERELY CRASH my computer multiple times EVERY update . I have lost at least 25 hours recovering and microsoft should buy me a new computer. We should start a class action suit against them if you have similar attacks monthly on your computer .

    Its the instability thats in WIN 10 (its okay then bamm its a mess). Then half the fixes from the SUPER USERS; whom most dont know what the heck they are talking about (99% of their solutions dont work; or only worked on their PC which I find strange). Even Micro Soft has issues fixing their own product (thats why they need forums). They want to sell but not fix. FOR FREE ANYWAY!!!. LInux is way more stable but you do need to learn some command line THAT YOU HARDLY EVER USE; plus most times in the GUI interface it provides its own solutions and fixes that you just cut and paste.

    XP# was and is still the best, from Vista on they suck!!! Plus my WIN 10 Update obsoleted all off my previous software. Thanks MS for the free version of throw my money away!!!! It also stopped me from using Vista (ooops, sorry WIN 7; wich was the finally fixed Vista wich nobody wanted after it breakout)

    HEY MICROSOFT. UPDATE XP3 bring it back, it your best the rest is a pain!!!!

    I hope Microsoft goes bankrupt and disappears..or buys me a working computer and then not ruin it with MALICIOUS updates , including misleading update notes .They DO NOT stop taking money from unsuspecting victims .
