My USB Dongle is broken. Where can I get new USB Dongle for Microsoft Sculpt Wireless Ergonomic Mouse and Keyboard?

Hi Vetrig,

The receiver only works specifically on that keyboard and mouse combo. Getting the receiver replaced might not be possible. Check with our Microsoft Store support team regarding your concern. Use this article.

    Why are you telling people to go wait on their phones just to eventually be told that they have to buy a new keyboard-dongle pair?

    There is no such thing as a replacement dongle. As a user already pointed out here, once lost dongle renders your ~$100 keyboard useless.

    You cannot get a new dongle. 

    You'll have to throw away your keyboard and purchase the whole new set for ~$100.

    No, I am not joking. Microsoft claims that they "pair keyboards and dongles in the factory". That means that there is only one dongle on the planet that works with your keyboard. The one that you just lost.

    With all due respect, the Microsoft Sculpt mouse is very meticulously listed on the vulnerable devices list. 

    When it comes to security vulnerabilities, it is not a bad idea to read more than the title. The list of vulnerable devices is only two hops away from the very link you posted.

    To be clear, Microsoft wireless peripherals are not secure. Users are not trading usability for security in this case. No.
