Latest Windows update makes everything HUGE

My husband's desktop (running Windows 10) downloaded and installed a major Windows update Nov. 22. After it did, his screen is huge. Icons, text, everything. I checked his resolution, icon size, text size and ease of access settings -- nothing out of place. Resolution is normal. Icon size is small. Text size is normal, all ease of access off. The screen zoom is 100%. If I system restore to before the update, it's fine. I tried to change the active hours to give myself a day to hunt down the answer today, but it updated again this morning, and the problem is back. We've restarted, powered off and did a hard restart, powered off and checked the monitor settings. It has to be a bug or a conflict with the new update, but I'm stumped. Anyone??

    So, after I clicked off the checkbox that was hiding resolutions it didn't think my monitor could use, I chose the highest one my monitor would allow (1440x...) and then zoomed to 75% and made the icons medium.

    It's close. It allows him to do his work. And that's the critical thing he needs until Microsoft can tell the hundreds of people using this forum, and probably tens of thousands out there how to fix this. The techs don't seem to know. And just wait until Monday when most workers who have taken the holiday off come back to their screwed up computers.

    There are a lot of people out there with very little knowledge, and what we are suggesting is so far beyond them. Computer tech services are going to make bank over this stupid upgrade.

    I performed the driver rollback, then your Option 1.  Upon reboot, everything remained the same; that is, the display is still huge and somewhat distorted.  The ATI driver rollback is dated 7/25 and the version is 22.19.128.0.

    As far as I can tell (it is hard to navigate or even see things), other things have changed as well with the last update.  The "sleep" option on the power selection has disappeared, for example.  I'm eager for other suggestions.

    I followed Sumit's instructions: no help.  I first rolled back the driver, then performed his Option 1.  Still huge, distorted image upon reboot.  Very hard to navigate around. I also notice that the "sleep" option is no longer available.

    I am having the same issue with the screen, This is more than just screen resolution. I spent all day waiting on the latest update but that did not solve the issue. 

    Tried system restore and it worked for about 30 minutes and then the computer appeared to update again. 

    Tried unplugging the monitors. I have a dual monitor display necessary for my profession which now is going down the tubes. 

    Received a suggestion from the virtual chat to update the graphics driver. don't know how.

    What a mess! to deal with on thanksgiving. thanks ms.

    The second monitor isn't even recognized and justs mimics the first monitor. 

    The display settings have a lot of the options missing like font size choice, etc.

    Please fix Microsoft!
