Hello, I get this error: .NET Framework 3.5 installation error: 0x800F0950

I'm running an HP, Windows 10 home.. Okey i had this situation.. At the beginning i tried to reset my windows cause i wanted to, It didn't work so i installed a new windows 10 home, Then after i while i noticed that every wasn't running correctly, Then after i while i wanted to download .NET Framework 3.5, But that i got this error above, Someone help me please, In need !

Open Notepad then copy in this code

@echo off

Title .NET Framework 3.5 Offline Installer

for %%I in (D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z) do if exist "%%I:\sources\install.wim" set setupdrv=%%I

if defined setupdrv (

echo Found drive %setupdrv%

echo Installing .NET Framework 3.5...

Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:%setupdrv%:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

echo.

echo .NET Framework 3.5 should be installed

echo.

) else (

echo No installation media found!

echo Insert DVD or USB flash drive and run this file once again.

echo.

)

pause

Save the file as netfx.cmd

Right click it and choose Run as administrator.

The file will install .NET Framework 3.5 automatically after finding the drive letter of your Windows 10 installation media.

If media not found insert Win10 Usb or Dvd drive and run as administrator again.

Hi,

This worked for me... You need to put Installation Media in your DVD drive, Flash Drive or elsewhere... I used a Flash Drive...

Enter this into Command Prompt (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin)…

Dism /online /enable-

feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

Change D: to drive letter the installation media is on...

    Make sure Windows 10 Installation Media is in your DVD Rom Drive or plug Windows 10 USB Flash Drive in computer and Open CMD and type command below. >>> Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess <<<<

    [Make sure to change drive letter to your Windows 10 media:]

    Thanks for the script. 

    Script didn't work. I believed there is no file INSTALL.WIM in my ISO's sources directory. 

    Any feedback on this file?

    • I tried to just execute directly:

    Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:F:\sources\sxs /LimitAcces

    • Received Error: 07
      • Researched and indicated problem with /LimitAccess option.
    • Checked DISM help and could not find that option. 
      • We have latest Windows 10 build 1803.  Is /LimitAccess now not a valid option?
    • Anyway, I removed it, ran it again and feature reported successfully installed. However, my application still won't install but no longer indicates we need to add .net 3.5.
    • Check via Control Panel and it appears it was installed also.
