Screen and Internet is Enlarged and Stretched Using Windows 10

I know what you mean about the frustration. I've done everything I could do, (other than using a hammer), and now my son is trying to help. He's worked on computers for a long time and has never come across this issue before. He even uninstalled the driver and downloaded an updated driver from the AMD website. Guess what? Didn't help.

I have an ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics card on my ASUS computer and have never had an issue until now. I upgraded to Windows 10 last year and its been running great. That is until yesterday when we came home. 

Whatever happened, happened yesterday sometime while we were gone.

I've also been reading what Wayne's posted trying to help resolve this issue and nothing has worked. My next step will be contacting Microsoft thru the Chat Bot until I can get a real person to try and fix it. If they know what the problem is they should automatically send out a patch for it. But hey, you can make more money by forcing people to buy newer graphics cards. Right?

Like you I feel it's really strange that this happened the day before "Black Friday". Umm?

I'm NOT a techy person but what if I just disabled the ATI Radeon HD4200? What would it do to my computer?

I'm seeing more failures than success in solving this display adapter resolution problem.  We may have to wait for MS to release a fix for this...but when...don't hold you breath.

Some claimed success by accessing the virtual agent (Chat Bot) and then requesting a real human chat who then fixed the problem in 20 minutes.

Others declare the opposite about the Virtual Agent Chat Bot and how it is worthless.  You must eventually request a real human chat if you use the Chat Bot.  The Chat Bot unto itself, is still in developmental stage.

I had this display adapter resolution problem myself,  but was able to fix it by installing drivers for my AMD Radeon 6450 Display Adapter driver at the AMD Website HERE  and by manually downloading the driver.  You must scroll down rather far, to find it.

But others have claimed this didn't work for them.  Seems as if it's different strokes for different folks.  Good luck to all.

They appear grayed out until you hover over them....turning blue and functional.  See if this is so for you.  It is for me.

It doesn't allow me to "Rollback". Maybe this is why I can't rollback....I DID find this.....

The Roll Back Driver button is only available if a previous version of the driver was installed. If the current driver for the device is the only one that was ever installed on this computer, then the Roll Back Driver button is not enabled

Have you tried rolling back to the previous driver?

Right click Start Menu>Device Manager>Expand Display Adapter>Right click Your brand Display Adapter>Right Click Properties>Click Driver TAB>Rollback Driver>Answer Questions

You may have to stop further updates to the AMD drivers after or you may be re-updated and bounced back to the same dysfunction.

Wayne - when I tried this the Rollback Driver was grayed out.

I tried hovering over them and it still didn't turn blue for me to select. It's not allowing me to "Rollback Driver".
