I have not used my computer in two days, and when I went to turn it on everything it's HUGE now!  Prior to today it has worked perfectly fine. I have checked all settings and resolution and nothing has been changed, it's all the way it should be.  I've even tried doing a system restore nothing is working!  HELP!!! PLEASE!!  I'm using Windows 10.

    Hi Devlin,

The last time I used my computer was on Tuesday.  I never had any issues prior to that.  I turned it on today for the first time since Tuesday and all of sudden everything is enlarged and stretched off the screen.  To answer your questions in order as follows:

    1.  No, I have not noticed any system changes since I last used my computer.  At least nothing I am aware of unless something automatically changed.

    2.  No, I am not receiving any error messages.

    3.  I have tried most of the general troubleshooting that I have found on the internet, such as, checking resolution and scaling settings.  They are all at the original settings.  I also checked for graphic driver updates and it said everything was up to date.

I have included two screen shots but I'm not sure how much you can tell from them since they do not look as bad as it really is.

Would a virus do something like this?  I have virus protection.  I'm hoping you can help since I am unable to work with it in this condition.

    Thanks,

    Lisa

    Hello James,

This kind of issue on Windows 10 is commonly caused by a misconfiguration with the display settings. It would be great if you can tell us more about your concern. Please answer the following:

    • Did you notice any system setting changes prior to the issue?
    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Can you tell us in detail the troubleshooting steps you tried? We need this information in order to avoid repeating steps.

A screenshot of the issue would be helpful. Please refer to this thread for the steps on including a screenshot in your post.

NOTE: Please do not include any personal information in the screenshot.
