Screen and Internet is Enlarged and Stretched Using Windows 10

I have not used my computer in two days, and when I went to turn it on everything it's HUGE now!  Prior to today it has worked perfectly fine. I have checked all settings and resolution and nothing has been changed, it's all the way it should be.  I've even tried doing a system restore nothing is working!  HELP!!! PLEASE!!  I'm using Windows 10.

    Hey guys,

    I am having the same issue as LJames and it started yesterday 11/23 after we came back from Thanksgiving with family. The display was working great in the morning, but when I came back home it was stretched out with large icons. No one was home while we were gone.

    I have also checked for updates and updated drivers with no luck. I finally searched for help on this issue and found other people are having the same problem.

    Another thing is when my wife tried to play her Candy Crush game  it ran in slow motion.

    I have not had any error messages.

    My highest screen resolution now is 1020 x 1024. It used to be higher

    Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds to me like a display adapter driver problem.  This is a known issue currently rather widespread  for devices using AMD graphics cards.  It resulted from MS providing less than perfect driver updates for AMD Radeon display adapters.  Do you have an AMD display adapter?

    Determine what brand name graphics card aka (display adapter, video card, graphics processing unit) you have on your device... by right clicking the Start menu>Device Manager>Display Adapter>Expand it>Properties>all right clicks.

    If AMD is your brand name display adapter, you should update the driver by going to the manufacture's website HERE  selecting "Autodetect" then download what autodetect finds for you.  This is the easiest way to do it if you have an AMD display adapter.

    If you don't have a AMD Radeon Display Adapter on your device, then this wouldn't apply to you.

    My display resolution problems were corrected immediately after updating the Display Adapter Driver from the AMD website found above using AutoDetect.

    This should not have happened to begin with. It is sad buy something and have to work the bugs out ourselves. They should have someone to come and do it, as some of us are not computer savvy, and not able to do it.

    Oh no!  I know and I have tried so many different things. I’m afraid to use it.  I desparately need my PC for work and I cannot find a fix 😠😩

    I woke up to my computer having the exact same problem today and I cannot find a solution anywhere. What is bugging me most, however, is that when I reset my computer, the screen went back to normal for a few minutes and then reverted to the enlarged/stretched distortion.
