Screen and Internet is Enlarged and Stretched Using Windows 10

The problem was created with a recent Windows 10 update that replaced the ATI Radeon HD driver with a Microsoft Basic Display driver. For older display drivers this reduced considerably the choice of screen resolution. I fixed my problem by reverting to the previous version and then opening device manager, clicking on the Radeon driver properties, selecting roll back driver. And rebooting. Note that Microsoft only allows you to do this within 10 days of the problematic update (It used to be 30 days). If you’ve gone beyond the time limit, I believe your only recourse might be to re-install Windows. Once you’ve fixed the Screen resolution you should prevent updates from automatically updating the drivers.

I have tried this fix again and I show three ATI Radeon HD 4200 and one generic one called Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.  I have tried all three ATI Radeon HD 4200 and they all state 7/25/17.  I did not try the Microsoft Basic as I was afraid it may not be good.  I do not not what else to try.  This is just so very frustrating trying to work with a screen like this. What's more frustrating is that all the fixes seem to be working for everyone else.  Is there anything I am missing in trying?

"If AMD is your brand name display adapter, you should update the driver by going to the manufacture's website HERE  selecting "Autodetect" then download what autodetect finds for you.  This is the easiest way to do it if you have an AMD display adapter." I tried this but the installer responded that the components were already installed. I suspect that this is because Windows 10 1703 update replaced the AMD driver with a Microsoft Basic Display driver and it won't let you uninstall it from the properties tab. I still haven't figured out a solution short of a reinstall of Windows 10.
