Forza Horizon 3 crash on launch

I have an issue with Forza Horizon 3 where if I try to launch the game, it instantly crashes. There is no popup for failure of any sort and it just looks as if nothing happened, just as if I closed the game right away. My computer is faster than needed to run the game and is updated to the newest version of Windows 10. I have seen many ways to fix the issue but none work. If anyone knows how to fix this, that could help not just me but allot of other people.

    So. Rone suggested downloading a free game then pausing and cancelling it, which actually worked which makes me think its an issue with Microsoft. Who knows

    It crashed before we had any dlc so not sure why.

    i havent posted anything in the forums, But  i have tried troubleshooting, i explained what the result of that was, being that it only told me whatever issue it found was fixed. 

    Im not sure what steps you've listed so if you could provide them again that would be nice.

    I attempted using reimage and it tells me there's potentially a virus, however im not sure if that is inaccurate or not as no other system care i use reports any malware issues. I also checked my settings in the gamebar app to make sure things werent out of place. i cleared my temporary files as well.  so far everything i've tried hasnt been making much of a difference. some videos tell you that you can install another random app and it should open, i tried that as well, still nothing.

    As i had stated before i've tried troubleshooting only to have it tell me whatever issue was there is fixed. im not sure what other troubleshooting steps you're referring to so if you can provide that it might be of use. I tried using an unregistered version of reimage to scan it, which of course means i cant use it to clean it. It did report potential malware but im not sure how accurate this is because no other system care i use has reported any malware issues. does lacking direct x12 have this kind of impact? 

    One thing i might try when i have time if i dont get any other possible solutions first is uninstalling, downloading a random app FIRST.   THEN reinstalling the game to see if that somehow makes a difference. some people have had to reinstall many times, i've done this about 5 times now. 

    also, havent yet posted in the forums.
