There may be several reasons why you may encounter a black screen after an update. One of which may be caused by an incompatible graphics card driver. It may also be caused by a corrupted system file. To better assist you and provide you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps, kindly answer the questions below:
- Are you able to see the sign in screen and login?
- Are you able to see the Start menu, task bar, and your desktop icons?
- Have you tried performing any troubleshooting steps?
