actually MS says
" Note:
This feature is available in US English only."
which I take to mean your language setting - not where you're located
they need to be more specific

Hi all,
When I try to press Win+. or Win+; to open the emoji panel after I've installed the Fall Creators Update, it doesn't seem to work. This is using a Dell Precision 5520.

Drew - 810 Reputation points2017-12-01T23:39:03+00:00 Well, not really... you understood it to be or mean a Keyboard language setting not, a place setting; US English is not a country but, rather (specifying) a type of English (language not, location).

2017-12-02T00:42:11+00:00 Exactly. I am in Calgary, in Canada, as well. But, does not matter what country as long as the Keyboard is English (US).
English (Canada), English (UK), etc. will not do it, only, English (US)... regardless of geographic place.
And while I'm at it... seems some think it only works in Office stuff... Outlook, Word, et al. Not the case... can be used damn near anywhere one can type, internally or web sites.
Obviously, you must be in NS 😊 I'm originally from NB (Moncton).

2017-12-05T01:36:06+00:00 I don´t know if it will help you, but i'm from Argentina and i had to add the keyboard to my taskbar in settings, customization, taskbar and where it says Notification Area, Activate or desactivate system icons.
I hope this helps you and i hope you can understand my bad English 😂
