Automated Windows 10 updates deleted all my documents and files

Microsoft has to be the worst software made. If a person buys a computer, is the only one operating the computer and stores files on said computer, then who authorized any one else to enter and randomly delete any files at all? Ridiculous. I am so going over to APPLE or simply trashing this piece of **** today. I lost legal files I have been saving for a case and cannot recover them. Had enough of this BS

Hi guys! I finally found a solution to this!

It wont work if you have only one user accounts. So if you have an other person using the pc and is an administrator go to the account and delete your account. You need to delete your account because the account the update was installed only has an effect but other users don't so delete it. But before you do so if you want to save your data go file explorer and go to the  Windows C: drive go to users and find your account name and go to every file type section. Before that make a new folder on which you will store your data. Insert all your data into the new file and save it to the account. That is how you backup your data just in case if your going to delete it. After deleting make another one for yourself! And go the users file and find the file in the account you stored all your data and put it into your account! It is a long process but never give up! ;)

I have had the exact same issue which has taken me days to just get here; an Auto update, which I was unable to stop and then I lost all my Office 365 suite plus ALL my important business files, artwork, photos and pretty much everything that hadn't been auto save back to Sptemebr 2019.

I am devastated; I can't find valuable contacts, I am not getting emails to Outlook, basically life as I knew a few days ago at the beginning of July is completely changed. It's like I have been destroyed by Covid. It is unacceptable l that we pay for these products only to find we are subject to this type of treatment.

I seek compensation and expect a full restore of my system

Please respond to me immediately so that I can carry on my business; it is tough enough at this time of Covid without this srot of irrepesbcble corporate behaviour going on

Im facing alot of problems with this company. I think people do not fix these types of problems.

Ive faced this update and had to make a new one. I even face a lot of glitches leaving my computer to be thrown in trash.

All i know is Microsoft isnt for students who attend online. It is there for dieing with stress. Im upgrading my mac l. I do not care if  its expensive. The quality is at the price of an item. Mac is expensive as it is rich in quality

Totally agreed that Microsoft's  had forgotten customer and product satisfaction a d o had no intentions to write again  my Greek tragedy but it has to know a d i do need replacements t equipment  and least a letter of compensating all customers trouble with kindness and the ability to re pay them
