Automated Windows 10 updates deleted all my documents and files

Complete BS. When it goes in and wipes theres nothing left and if your past the one month you cant reverse and downgrade, you can only upgrade. Windows.old is there as a temp backup which is a remnant of a common basic or standard with an update, simply meaning that if the Windows Application is functioning properly with all of the other Windows Apps. For some reason Microsoft wont come out and admit that Windows 10 is a sad project and that it along with its  applications and the upside, there are in fact major issues. When the first major win 10 update came out, users were losing files in business and personal computers, in the Spring and fall updates, again major issues. Im not saying Win ,10 is bad, what im saying is not enough beta testing is being done, and applications are being sent to market incomplete. The technologies are moving faster than the fixes. Ive noticed this got real bad when these Security Intelligence Updates started coming in.

If you saved anything to the cloud , or have an account like dropbox is your only options other than USB. Windows doesnt allow copy of files to CD nor burner actiins unless its music. The CD DVD actions were shutdown by MS just before the changes a few years back. Heres what i can assure you. MS is making it pretty much mandatory for Windows users to go to SSID and Terrabyte . Theyve just released MSFS 2020 and the app wont do anything unless you have exactly what they demand. The Edge toolbar doesnt get along with any resl third party security, Edge, Defender and the Cloud go back and forth with issues and stop downloads and other simple issues. And this Security Intelligence Updates isnt anything that is about making a computer safe, its ibout tracking and observation. The one thing you need to know is this. You dont have to have internet for MS to get into your computer, if you have special keys, tou get to drive the car. After what ive seen in the issues with Windows 10, i find it difficult to stay on board. Seems like its all about money and better technology and loss of privacy. Heres a good example. Less than a week ago i was in a chat with MS SUPPORT. The team responder told me that Windows Defender never existed until Windows 10. Makes me really wonder where they get these absurd statements from. I get better info online and hete than ive ever gotten from support in the last few years. With Covid everything is chat and it really makes it difficult when one uses a computer for work.

Today, after a windows 10 update, Office 2019, my entire document history, downloads and scans have been removed from my hard drive. Pictures a mail remains. I have tried all the recommended avenues to recover my important documents to no avail, nothing remains on my C Drive. Do i have a roll back option? or has Microsoft stopped my activity in its tracks?
