Automated Windows 10 updates deleted all my documents and files

I am in a state of shock. I was already using windows 10 and last night automated updates started without allowing me to stop them. This morning my computer is cleaned out with all thosevery important document deleted!!! Microsoft can do that??? How can I recover them ALL?????

    I see this Now it is December 2019. When I turned my laptop off I preformed an update(I have windows 10) . next morning turn it on....ALL my stuff is gone! doc, down loads programs writing projects I have been working on.

    So Now what how do I get everything BACK???

    I have the same problem I'm working on it you might want to try to do what's called a systems restore now it's going to be blank so you going to have to create a restore point once you record create a restore point make it two days prior to the update then when she created it should say restore point create a successfully can go to system restore and click on the restore point and click restore and it'll take about 30 minutes for it to restart we load the files that should work

    Ok thanks I will try that. Right now every file I download, I put it on the one drive for now as that cumulative updates is still going on.

    All the apps and software got deleted after the updation of my window 

    Few min ago i just updated my window 10 all the software data has been deleted .my microsoft store and mails etc all the apps are not working some are not responding pc started to lag after update black screen autorestart and so many issue accured due to this update
