Windows 10.0.16299.19 upgrade failed and it gives the message: "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on theis compuiter, restart the installation." i tried the method in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/windows-could-not-complete-the-installation-to/bf09c3c5-298b-459f-aed5-4f431b8398f5?auth=1 but it does not work. There is no cursor on the screen, there is no “local user and group” in Double click Computer Management (Local) -> System Tools -> Local Users and Groups -> Users -> Double Click Administrator -> Uncheck Account is disabled -> OK this step

there is no response when i try oobe> msoobe

Please help me, thank you!

    No, I don’t work for Microsoft, but maybe they should compensate us for helping them out. I work in IT for a small private school and this error appeared on one of my teacher’s laptop. Glad this worked for you too

    Thanks.  This fixed the problem caused by Windows Update.  I assume you don't work for Microsoft.  If that's the case, then it's really poor that users have to put in the time to work out solutions to these problems and not Microsoft.  It's just a crazy situation.

    Hi im very sorry but i don’t understand exactly how to shut down and turn back on 3 times to get to advanced settings. I know its a stupid question, but thanks anyways.
