Solitaire collection events cheating

I would say that the 1:36 was a "Pseudo" or if you prefer a "Fake" account entered by a person having access to the operating system. The account appeared after I was at first place for some time and before Franswar came in a few seconds faster. Whoever entered the account forgot to mark the "expert under 5 minutes" in the event profile. It was probably put in there to show us that "We are watching you", usually happens after there are too many people complaining about cheating.

The time of 1:36 was entered so that it would always be at first position and all the top players could see it. I would say that Microsoft has several "helpers", "watchers" or whatever they are called, playing in the online events, and on Solitaire one is always in the top twelve.

Thanks for the reply!  It is kind of funny that Microsoft feels the need to monitor the results. If they have no way to actually do anything about the various "methods" employed to play the game, what good does it do to monitor? Some players may be hampered by slow connections or slow computers when playing normally. So? If you wanted a "real' tournament, you would bring people together and have them play on the same speed computers under observation.  

As for this solitaire tournament, everyone should be welcome to play in any manner they see fit. There are no "real" rewards to seeing you name at the top of any list except the acknowledgement of friends. If friends want to police each other, fine. Otherwise...everyone can just play.

I have had the same thought for over a year, but have not been able to find any hard evidence to support this.  Another issue, check the leader board 10 minutes into an event and you will see people that have already completed the event in a time of xx (greater than 10 minutes).  How can that be?

The clock does not run between completed games. Verify for yourself by keeping track of each game's time and comparing to your total score.  There are/was issues with the timer continuing to run if you quit a game without finishing it.

I suggest that ignoring the scoreboard for a solitaire type game to be best.

The game used to be played for cash at $52 for a deck and paid $5 for each card above the tableau but the computerized version is a free to play ad nauseum version
