Solitaire collection events cheating

The top 100 in solitaire events have to be cheating as it is a physical impossibility to even click through the cards in 20 + games in the times they are achieving.

    To clarify, the FreeCell event I spoke about had 20 challenges, not 30.  So the time of 29:57 came to an average of about 1 1/2 minutes for each challenge.  For events that have 30 challenges, my best time I can recall was a bit under 60 minutes.

    Hi,

    A few points:

    To complete 30 games in under 30 minutes would seem incredible.

    If as you say that you look at the deck to see where the aces are, would put on perhaps 15 seconds leaving you 45 seconds to complete the game.

    I think that the timer starts when you push play.

    Yet again the game finishing on the 23 Sept had the top 100 all having 1,2,3, and all completing in 25 to 50 minutes. One of the top 3 is called PaltryAmoeba, very fitting!

    So it looks like MS has finally stopped showing impossible time for those on Top 100 whose times vary from 22' to 55' as on Sept 22.

    If there were AI cheating before now we all hope there's no more. We all want to be ranked but amongst humans.

    Not sure if you saw my clarification post, but the challenge in question was a FreeCell challenge which has 20 games, not 30.  I agree with you that a 30 game challenge under 30 minutes would be incredibly unlikely.  I don't believe that the timer starts until the first card is moved, at least in FreeCell.  Not sure if that is true of all the games.

    I did have one challenge where I finished second and PaltryAmoeba was first.  His/her time was about 30+ minutes faster than mine. 

    In the challenge yesterday, I came in first in my group for a 30 game event in a time of 1:49:30.  I was assuming that I would not be in the top 10 because because the games were quite hard for me.  The Expert Tripeaks was very difficult.  This morning when I saw the final scores for my group, there were only 5 people of the 100 who solved all the games.  So even with the various challenges, there are some that are easier and some that are harder.  So what were the top times overall for that challenge?  The first place time for the top 100 was a 25:58

    I am 72 and really enjoy the event challenges.

    It keeps my head going in the right direction LOL.
