Solitaire collection events cheating

Hallo Steve,

If there are no rules then it's not cheating but tricks. If there are rules then you can call it cheating if you wish to! Also nothing is impossible. Every second day up to 400,000  players participate on the event and are probably quite happy when they complete all the games, or an expert in under 5 minutes, or whatever. A 30-game-event will normally take between  one-and-a-half to two hours to complete, sometimes a little longer or shorter, these times would be for a player who simply wants to play the game, and will end up somewhere on his leader board (1 to 100). These players will never ever get into the global top 100 but that doesn't worry them!

The next situation that we have is that a player has several other players on his friends board. Now, not to be last on the board he must decrease his playing time. One of the most common methods of doing this is to open a second account, playing the games on the second account, writing down the moves and then playing the game on the first account. Then a 30-game-event will take about an hour.

There are of course other tricks. The completed games are all on YouTube, this is good if there is a problem solving a game! So now we come to a word that everyone has seen "bot" a short word for "robot". A bot just plays the moves it has been given on the game board, it doesn't have to think, it just clicks cards. Using a bot will cut the game time down conciderably! 25 to 35 minutes. Bots can be purchased on the internet, but I would strongly reccomend that you don't download a bot, you could get a lot of problems when you try to use it. Last but not least is a "droid" short for "android". Comes from "Star wars". A droid is a program that not only solves the game, it plays it as well, similar to a computer chess program.

Let's get back to the global top 100, from the times that I have mentioned you can see who is playing with what tricks but that is only 100 out of 400,000 so it's not worth worrying about! Finally the global top ten are playing amongst themselves so these should be of no interest to you.

I saw that time today! Wow, apparently there is someone (possibly a much evolved alien) who could finish the Pyramid Tournament in under 2 minutes! It's taken me this long to write my reply!!!  I agree, that 1 minute 36 seconds puts those other lame cheaters to shame!    They look like snails now...(don't even ask where that puts me).  It made me laugh out loud. I'm now waiting for the first person (or alien) to complete the tournaments in NEGATIVE time....

Thanks for the google macro info. I can wait to try it.  I did not miswrite that. I won't be trying it, but I did want to know what the technique is.  It's kind of like another way to play...figure out the  most efficient card play for each game so your macro will be faster than other players using a macro to come up with the fastest times. Having a fast computer and fast connection might help too. 

As stated, google "how to create a macro".  I am simply an old very sick woman who enjoy's playing the Microsoft Solitaire daily's and  challenges.   My Dr. originally suggested playing them for brain re-mapping after my stroke.   A mental didactic approach.   Simple macros that come "built into" your PC style computer would be using the CTL A (select all) CTL C (copy all that is selected) and CTL V (take all that has been copied and post it.) Back in the late 80's when those that had a computer at home signed up to beta for Microsoft and helped them to create OFFICE, those built in macros were needed by secretary's, administrators, financial, etc.  

I just like to play a healthy game honestly and appreciate everyone else who does the same.

MACROS:   Anyone can set up a macro on their system.  I finally found someone who told me what the people are doing, so that their name shows up 2-3 times with increasinging faster scores until each game is under a minute.   Google creating macros, play the game hit the undo button, turn on macro and undo all the way to the beginning, reverse the macro and then have it play the game for you.

Today was one of my favorite times related to the issue of the top 100.  In the Pyramid Challenge the best time is a total of 1 minute and 36 seconds for the 20 challenges.  Some of the usual top names where there on the list, but they were smoked by the new arrival of a player who can complete all the challenges in under two minutes.  My thought is that there is someone out there who was saying to themselves "If you want to play that game, I can play it too, but I have the technical skills that you can only dream of." Or could it be someone from Microsoft doing a smackdown?  It just made the whole situation a lot more funny and less annoying.
